Get Involved

Throughout the year, Breakthrough Miami offers various ways to give back and engage with the Breakthrough Village, all while supporting major initiatives with our partners.

Food Distribution:

While we deliver programming virtually through the Fall, we remain committed to the nutrition and wellbeing of our Scholars. In partnership with Feeding South Florida, Breakthrough is hosting fresh food distribution days at select host site schools.
How you can volunteer: sorting and packaging and/or signing up for distributing

Supply Drives:

Ensuring our students can maximize virtual programming, we are committed to provide school supplies and materials to execute programming.
How you can volunteer: Donate to our Amazon charity list, sort + package supplies and/or sign up for distributing.

STEPS 5k Fun Run:

Every year St. Thomas Episcopal Parish hosts a community 5k, and half the proceeds benefit Breakthrough Miami.
How you can volunteer: Sign up & create a team, spread the word in your school, Athletics departments, clubs, etc. and represent your school + engage your communities.

Give Miami Day and Gratitude Week:

Biggest day of philanthropy in Miami. Help us build character and give thanks during the entire week.
