“I absolutely loved the safe, professional and hope-filled space this workshop provided.  I felt like no question was off limits for Sylvie B. and Dr. B!!”

“I learned that most of the parents with middle schoolers are in the same predicament as I am with my child. I really do agree that pre-teens seem to be a very difficult stage to be in for our kids as they’re not a young child anymore, nor a teenager yet, and are experiencing a lot of changes both physically and emotionally. That we as parents should be more understanding, patient, and open minded. That we should always make them feel comfortable coming and opening up to us, regardless of the issue they might have or like to discuss. Make our kids feel that they can talk/discuss anything under the sun with us, their parents.”

Not only did I learn a lot from this workshop going forward, but in many ways I feel as if it was a form of self care. It provided me with a private moment to press pause in my world so I can listen, ask questions and focus on learning new skills for what matters most to me –my family.
