Art Inspires Breakthroughs: Genesis Inspiration Foundation Partners with Breakthrough Miami
Breakthrough Miami is proud to announce a new partnership with Genesis Inspiration Foundation, advancing a shared commitment to expanding access to arts education for under-resourced youth. Through a generous $50,000 grant, Genesis Inspiration Foundation is empowering Breakthrough Miami’s Scholars with transformative arts experiences that foster creativity, critical thinking, and leadership development.
Genesis Inspiration Foundation believes in the power of the arts to inspire young minds and create lasting impact. “Genesis is committed to creating meaningful learning experiences that inspire the next generation,” said Brandon Ramirez, director of corporate social responsibility at Genesis Motor America.

With this new funding, Breakthrough Miami will enhance its arts-focused programming, engaging 220 sixth-grade Scholars in dynamic and immersive arts education. This initiative will introduce new program elements, including a culminating gallery exhibition designed by students, providing them with a platform to showcase their creative work.
Leveraging Breakthrough Miami’s students-teaching-students model, older student volunteers are trained to lead instruction and art-making activities, reinforcing peer mentorship and leadership development. Through Saturday school-year programming and Breakthrough Miami’s signature six-week Summer Institute, this investment ensures year-round creative engagement.
A key component of Breakthrough Miami’s 6th grade Scholar experience in the arts is an enduring collaboration with the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM), which enables volunteer training, curricular support, and field experiences for Scholars to explore contemporary art, develop analytical skills, and engage in hands-on creative workshops guided by museum teaching artists. These experiences deepen Scholars’ appreciation for the arts and enhance their ability to use artistic expression as a tool for addressing community needs and opportunities.
Exposure to the arts not only fosters creativity but also strengthens problem-solving skills, collaboration, and self-confidence—essential skills for future success. Through the support of Genesis Inspiration Foundation, Breakthrough Miami is expanding access to high-quality arts education for under-resourced youth, equipping them with tools for academic and personal growth.
