Career Day 2019

For more than 20 years, Breakthrough Miami has hosted a professional week during our Summer Institute, exposing our scholars to the breadth of exciting career opportunities available to students who work hard and dream big.
Advancing our 8th grade theme of Business and Entrepreneurship, Career Day is designed to inspire our future leaders and entrepreneurs to create a vision for their own professional success.

Thanks to the time, generosity and creative ideas of our corporate partners, nearly 200 8th grade Scholars were hosted at 16 different sites for our 2019 Career Day this month. Our corporate hosts creatively introduced students to their workplaces through exciting hands-on experiences including investment competitions, mock trials, design challenges, facility tours, and insider experiences.
