Tell the Story: Herald Feature on Breakthrough Scholar Heavyn Lee
The story of Breakthrough Miami Scholar alumnus and Teaching Fellow Heavyn Lee was featured this weekend in the Miami Herald. Heavyn shares her story of dreams and ambition with Breakthrough Scholars across our community. Breakthrough serves thousands of young people who are striving for educational opportunities. Heavyn’s story, that leads her to Harvard as a Gates Scholar this year, is a poignant reminder that for our community to reach its ultimate potential, it’s imperative that each student is nurtured and supported to reach their own full potential.
Breakthrough Miami is proud to serve as an Opportunity Generator for students like Heavyn Lee to catch their dreams. These students are the new generation of leaders.
